These hats are made exclusively of rare alpaca fiber, found only at high altitudes in Peru and Bolivia. Alpaca is warmer than wool, and its uniquely silky feel will keep your head comfortable on those chilly days. Alpaca is also much stronger than wool. The deeply textured cable design is hand knit with needles by a women’s knitting cooperative in the remote Andes.
